Protection salt, often used in spiritual practices, is believed to have protective properties. Here's a simple method to make your own protection salt:

Ingredients:

1. Sea salt or coarse salt (about a cup)

2. Herbs or essential oils for protection (e.g., rosemary, sage, lavender, frankincense, or myrrh)

3. A small glass or plastic container with a tight-fitting lid

Instructions:

1. Cleanse your space: Before you begin, make sure your workspace is clean and that you're in a positive state of mind.

2. Choose your protective herbs or oils: Research herbs or essential oils associated with protection or cleansing. Some popular choices include rosemary, sage, lavender, frankincense, or myrrh. You can use dried herbs or a few drops of essential oil.

3. Prepare the salt: Pour the sea salt or kosher salt into your container. This will serve as the base for your protection salt.

4. Add your chosen herbs or oils: Sprinkle a small amount of your selected herbs or add a few drops of essential oil to the salt. The amount depends on your preference for the scent and the strength of protection you desire. Start with a small amount and add more if needed.

5. Mix and charge: Gently mix the salt and herbs/oils together. As you mix, focus on your intention for protection, envisioning a shield of positive energy forming around the salt. You can say a protection mantra or prayer if you like.

6. Store in a cool, dark place: Seal the container tightly and store it in a cool, dark place. Leave it for a few days to allow the energy to infuse into the salt.

7. Use as needed: You can use your protection salt in various ways, such as sprinkling it around your home, adding it to bathwater, or carrying a small amount in a pouch or sachet for personal protection.
